Review of ATIS IP-based Emergency Services Standards Documents
Christian Militeau kindly offered the possibility to make the mentioned ATIS documents available for our working group. This would require a bit of work via the liaison process. Before we invest time to figure out how this procedure would work I would like to get feedback from the group whether there is interest in obtaining and reviewing the documents.

this is our current goals and milestone list:
- Jul 2006 Informational RFC containing terminology definitions and the requirements
- Jul 2006 An Informational document describing the threats and security considerations
- Jul 2006 A Standards Track RFC describing how to identify a session set-up request is to an emergency response center
- Nov 2006 A Standards Track RFC describing how to route an emergency call based on location information
- Nov 2006 An Informational document describing the Mapping Protocol Architecture
- Dec 2006 An Informational document describing the ECRIT Framework
- Feb 2007 A BCP document describing the emergency call support for devices
We need to update the webpage to reflect reality. Here is a suggestion:

Interaction with the IAB
The chairs got the impression that it would be helpful to interact with the IAB to inform them about the architectural aspects of emergency handling. The monthly "Tech Chats" are a possibility for a presentation. We would like to thank Bernard Aboba and
Dan Romascanu for their help.
The
IAB Tech Chat on Emergency Services presentation took place on the 28th February 2007.
